A little bit of Sparkle

So after a week of Essence 109 - Off to Miami, this is the result.  This is after doing dishes, cleaning, washing, doing the lawns and a multiple of other things. This varnish has held up rather well.

For this week colours I have chosen Essence Beauty Beats nail polish in 02 - I'm Backstage and 

Sinful Colors in 922 - Frenzy.  I feel in love with Frenzy as I was doing some shopping at Big W, it is a fantastic mix of purple and greeny-blue glitter.

August Empties

This month I have mainly hair care and antiperspirant for some reason.  But will go through it anyway.

 Women Rexona, Long lasting protection was a nice antiperspirant to use.  It has a nice fragrance, this one called Delicious has scents of peach and Wild Raspberry.  It states that it has long lasting protection, Incredible fragrance, Alcohol free and Dermatologically tested.  I found that it did not irritate, lasted a good day no matter what I was doing, although it is not my favorite, I would try one of the other fragrances.

 I love conditioner and I love Schwarzkopf hair products.  This conditioner did a good job of keeping my hair smooth and tangle free, however, I found that with this specific conditioner I had to be careful not to over condition my hair as it was a little hard to rinse out.  I also found that even though it is a colour protect conditioner it didn't really do much for coloured hair.  I probably wont be repurchasing this.

 Love love love this Anti-Perspirant!  No Irritation, fresh scent, maximum lasting protection.  Definitely repurchase this!

I am not sure where I picked this up from, but I really enjoyed it.  It had a really nice mild berry scent and leaved my skin feeling moisturized not dried out and it lasted for ages.

 

I colour my own hair!  I have very long hair, and as a mother of two and a full time uni student we survive on only one income so having my hair coloured professionally is out of the question.  I love the this colour!  I have a strand or two of grey hair emerging and this covered them up as well as any regrowth extremely well.  4 weeks in with this colour and it is still vibrant and fresh.  This was colour 4.6, Intense Dark Red.

I have already repurchased these.  They protect coloured hair and revive it. The Shampoo is certainly a cleansing one while the conditioner is not heavy, leaving the hair feeling light and clean.

Splash of Coral

Essence Colour & Go nail varnish has been a favorite of mine for some time.  

Because of the beautiful spring weather we have had over the weekend, I decided it was time to ditch the darker winter nails for fresh and cheerful burst of colour.  The colour of choice for this week is 109 off to Miami.  This colour goes with pretty much everything.  

Essence Colour & Go nail varnish has fairly good lasting power and if applied with a good base coat and top coat will last the week out.  I also love the fact that it is quick drying.
